Abstract
Visually impaired persons need walking assistance way like white cane and a guide dog. Internet of Things is applied in various fields. Thus we designed smart white cane that helps the blind to detect and notify dangerous obstacles using Internet of Things technique. We implemented smart white cane using Arduino Leonardo, ultrasonic sensor, illuminance sensor, vibration motor, GPS, and Bluetooth.
