Serviceability verification of structural concrete members predicts the deflection control satisfies requirements at the service load stage. The correct calculation of tension steel stress is important for serviceability performance verification. In this paper, we define the material properties of concrete by a parabolic-rectangular stress-strain relations and proposed an algorithms that calculate the tension steel stress accurately using a trial-anderror method. We developed a program that automatically calculates the deflection for serviceability performance verification by a structural design code provisions such as the CEB-FIP Model Code 1990, Eurocode 2, JSCE PBD, and ACI 318-1995. And also, calculation program were tested to verify the accuracy of the results using experimental data.
